Washing machine control board repair
Unresponsive buttons, programmes firing at random, a display that flickers on and off? Usually the board — and most cases can be repaired without replacing the whole thing.
The control board is the brain of the machine — it reads the sensors, drives the motor and valves, and times every stage of the cycle. Because it handles electricity and water at the same time, it is the component most affected by voltage swings and humidity.
The important part: plenty of technicians replace the board straight away because it is easier. We test first. Often the fault is a burnt relay, a swollen capacitor or a cracked solder joint — and those cost a fraction of a whole board.

Questions about this repair
It depends on the fault. If one component has failed and the rest is sound, repair is cheaper and holds up. If there is widespread scorching or track damage, replacement is the safer call and we will say so.
